You might be right. I only tried with 128MB installed. I didn't try pulling memory sticks. But now that I think about it, I think @Byrd may have mentioned that it does work if you pull memory out.

Another observation. RocketShare and ZigZagJoe's NuCF Card Not a thorough test by any means but preliminary use suggests no issues using @zigzagjoe 's NuCF storage solution (in a IIfx) with RocketShare.

Are there any differences in hardware for the stage 1 cards: the 25i vs the 33? Could you swap in a 33MHz rated full 68040, change the crystal (I think it’s a 50MHz can vs a 66MHz can), and drop in a 27C256 eprom flashed with the 33 rom dumps in this thread to turn a 25i into a 33?
