@JC8080 thanks for the great info! I came into the Mac world later, so had no clue there was a substantial upgrade market for the 512k's.

Ok more strangeness with this 512ke ED. Seller posted some more pictures, machine has 1MB of RAM! It is not a Plus board upgrade, the port layout and bucket are still 512k form. Lowendmac says "some companies did make memory upgrade kits for the 512Ke" so guess this is one example?

So something interesting with this very nice 512ke ED: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335130352575 Seller is friendly and provided me the serial: So that's Week of Nov 9th to Nov 15th 1987 BUT Both everymac and lowendmac list the discontinued date for the 512ke as Sept 1 1987. So did Apple...

@Phipli true would be triple monitors but I don't have one of those wacko adapters so revised math is: 7100 (HDI-45) + HPV + Toby - HDI-45-adapter = dual monitors And no I don't need a native HDI-monitor...however a IIci to go with my 2nd SuperMac card ain't a bad idea :ROFLMAO:

@3lectr1cPPC I know just want to see if the Toby will work for this dual monitor setup ;)

Used my new PM7100/66 to test the NuBus cards from my non-functioning Mac II's. DaynaPort NIC, Toby video card, and SuperMac Spectrum 24 IV all worked! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all! :)

@LaPorta thx for your SE pix All - rather than use random pix of machines from ebay or Google images etc, how about if we feature pix of our 68k community machines in the pictorial guide? I have to publish out an updated matrix with all the new info, I can mark pictures collected on that too...

I think this is another great idea. Not sure how to approach and honestly I'm swamped working through the production versions alone. Would you be up for taking point on the pre-prods? Maybe there are others who could help too?

You're definitely the first to call out a platinum 512ke, and look what just listed on eBay! However you've seen one without the ED badge on the front? https://www.ebay.com/itm/335130352575
