    Thank you for the advice! Since I have installed a BlueSCSI as well as a new pram battery, I hope I won’t have to open the machine again anytime soon.

    Thanks a lot for your help! Booting was successful into 7.1.2 with enabler 131 on my Powerbook 165C. I was able to change the time and date. After switching to the 7.5.3 HDD image, the time and date display remained correct and could be changed without any issues. Best Regardss, Pete

If this is not appropriate, please let me know. @croissantking : exactly same problem on my PB165c. Unfortunately this machine wont let me boot OS7.1...
