I haven't been able to find much repair info out there but I recently acquired a NIB USB 100mb zip drive.  Im thinking it may have capacitor issues because I get a power light but it is not found when connecting to a computer and will not eject a disk.  I didn't want to just start ripping it...

Pretty much if I had an email client that worked I would be set for most of my use at work. 

Just wanted to say gee thanks for posting that performa tour cause I had to sit and watch all 23 minutes of it since it was there haha... On a side note when I'm using Internet explorer I have to click show all content to see videos but on my iPhone they just show up as they should.

I just want to say that I'm looking forward to seeing this project move forward more than anything else that's being worked on lately. It will be great to be able to find and download files on the older macs without needing go between machines.

It's mind boggling how you have such problems with bombs and sad macs, I've been collecting for 20 years and only had either issue a couple times total lol

Yeah I've been watching the Quadra 700 thread, was one of the reminders for me to check mine. I was thinking I'll clean it up some and then try to get a better idea if it's salvageable.

They have been stored for years long before I read about battery problems. And yes I think I have them all removed now.

Well I made it out to check on my macs today. One battery explosion and of course it was the IIfx. Any chance of repairability?

Anyone have a copy of this file, I went to download it this morning for my impact 030 board in color classic and it says the file is not there...

Can anyone tell me which CD-ROM drive originally came in the IIvx and also will bezel from any other case work?

Yeah this was more of a project just because I had picked up a boxed copy of virtual pc and wanted something to use it for.

Yeah that's what I did. I need to throw a newer browser on there but it was a fresh install of the system.

Unity: I actually snagged about 6 of these so far. Is that the only part you're looking for cause I've got them.

Got the first of my G3 all-in-ones running. I installed virtual of with windows 95 then installed Microsoft rdp which is happily letting me download files directly to the hard drive of the Mac.

Well I can tell you this version is probably not the one you want to use.  I believe it is only emulating like a 286.  I mostly just installed it to see if I could get it to run with only having 4mb of ram in my LC along with about 20mb of free hard disk space.

Well since I'm I'm the middle of getting my collection back up and running I figured I would pick up a little LC II off eBay. And yes I'm running SoftPC there which is a little painful but interesting at the same time.
