Have you replaced UB1? Startup is one circuit and shut down is another. I had same issues as you (also one battery bombed) and had to replace UB1 and also repair some vias in that area.
Should be possible to build an adapter and actually use the current programmer. So far my main issue has been sourcing that a lot connector for the PPC ROM.
Weird issue, Can you try another OS, say 7.1?
I have Bolle and carrera also, but runs without those issues in my machines. But I almost exclusively run 7.1 on them.
Did you patch the OS also? Maybe you can try this image...
I can send step/stl files to anyone interested. Just DM me, there is one catch, the 17” part only fits the 17” model, the 20” is wider and the 15” is more narrow. Unfortunately I only have the 17” model, otherwise I could have adopted it :(.
This is basically all that is supported. The first occurrence of each resolution will give you a window boxed (it’s running 1080p then), the second is “true” resolution.
Two known bugs:
* Sometimes the lower resolutions are not perfectly centered. If you change to another resolution this...
Yes, it’s a real HDMI and it does 1280x1024 in 32 bit color. With The duo dock I had some issues, let me pull mine out and test again, in 700/650 it works without any issues (other than the bugs mention by Melkhior)
Yes, I'm running with the non HDMI version in my machines, I can live without audio since I have more usage for the other resolutions :). I actually have a spare Nubusboard here if you are interested. Shot me a PM. They are still very much "beta", but also very useful! My "main" 650 is running...
I’ve been building and tested most of @Melkhiors cards and I must say this is essentially the “best” performance you can get out of the Nubus, it is basically on par with the onboard graphics, but keep in mind this card does Full HD and 32bit color.
I recently made a somewhat simplified and in...
The same is for the SE/30, the Daystar is also mapped starting at 40880000. I tried getting romdisk to work in that combination, by moving the romdisk to 40900000, but no success, then I tried also injecting the by daystar modified ROM but still no luck, but that migth be explained by the...
Really neat project! Very impressive work indeed!!!
Bluetooth support for a wireless mouse would be really nifty :). And, maybe this is very weird request, but if you would have a 5th channel with USB output it would also be very nice. That way you could have 1 modern computer and 4 retro...
Incredible job! Really well done!! It would be very, very interesting with a version for the IIfx, but I assume there might be some timing issues of of course the space might be an issue. 64pin SIMMs for the IIfx is anyway rare and super fast 256DRAM in the IIfx would be very compelling :).
This is actually a very interesting idea, need to find some time to play with it, basically a little logic inverter could do just that. Only issue is of course getting the A23 (for hacking no issues, but for "series" more so.
Or make a ROM for the PDS directly and grab the missing signals from the ROM-simm socket :). I'm thinking a ROM-simm dummy which has a small connector that ejects the in PDS necessary signals. a PDS-rom :)
