I'd buy reels if I had the intention of reselling as kits or had multiple Macs to do.
Would appreciate your part numbers, I may have more luck finding those locally. Or for you to send me some caps. Happy to pay including postage via PayPal.
I'll send you a PM @cheesestraws thank you.
I've ordered an SCSI2SD and 2MB extra RAM.
Where do people recommend for cap kits?
Console5 are not shipping to the UK because Brexit and the into other one I can find on eBay ships from Russia. I don't really want to import, or buy more caps than I need.

I'm just about to zap the PRAM from System 6 (hold cmd+opt+shift+tab whilst opening Control Panel)

- Boots from ROM with key combo (cmd+opt+x+o)
either way:
- PRAM reset key combo still does nothing? (cmd+opt+p+r)
Any further thoughts?
I'll recap it for sure.

I'll probably go for SCSI2SD if the drive is still dead...
I got my Macintosh Classic out of storage (about 4 years since it was last used). I opened it up and took out the PRAM battery as a precaution (but it looks fine). Mac is remarkably clean and was hardly used when I bought it and hardly used since.
But... now I'm booting it and it won't...
I have a Japanese game that needs KanjiTalk.
What is KanjiTalk exactly? A whole replacement version of Mac OS or just some components?
Do I have to replace my existing Mac OS 7.5 install? Can I swap it out on demand, or is it one or the other?
I already have Japanese support in Mac OS 9 (via...
