Quite honestly, a Raspberry Pi is probably your best bridge machine. As others have mentioned, running a netatalk server via A2SERVER or a RaSCSI will let you share files easily between modern and vintage Macs. I even send files to my Apple IIgs with Uthernet II card that way! If you go with...
I'm using the GGLabs card too. The first SCSI read is the highest ID number, so make sure the drive you want to boot from has a higher number. Also, I'm not sure that booting from HFS works...
GSOS can boot from a SCSI HD - I've successfully booted from a MacSD, SCSI2SD, ZuluSCSI, RaSCSI, and even a real SCSI drive. I'm sure that you can boot from a BlueSCSI too with the SCSIHD driver installed.
Yes, it should chime and the HD and disk drive should spin up, unless you have a break in the 12V rail like I did. You might check out my recent IIsi restoration here:

Thanks for the link, but I don't wanna pay more for the keyboard cover than my keyboard! 🤑 The plastic cover sounds like a good project for the 3D printer...
Well, I vowed never to buy another IIsi after I paid big bucks for one back in college and my parents bought an LC III, which was 5 MHz faster than my IIsi, for $1000 cheaper less than a year later. But, a very-clean non-working IIsi came up on here for $50 and I was looking for a project. I...
Ok, got the HD to load up now - I ran a bodge wire from the 12V test edge lead to the HD power connector and am getting a solid 12V there now. Unfortunately I'm now running blind and deaf with no monitor to test it with and I think I may have fried the sound chip with some previous escapades...
Hey guys,
I'm still trying to get a dead IIsi I recently bought up and running. I've recapped the PS and logic board and now get a chime upon boot but the HD (known to work) won't spin up. Initially I thought it may be a PS issue as I was only getting 10V at the HD connector but I'm actually...
