No, the vi has the space for it but it is not installed. I have installed one tried the stock BMOW rominator but won’t boot. I doubt the stock rominator will work as their is big difference in that rom to the vi rom.

After many days work and a hunch that the rom on the IIvi is bad, I can confirm it is. I removed it and took the rom from a working board and soldered it on the non-working board and guess what? Booted up and worked fine. Now I am in the hunt for a IIvi, IIvx or P600 rom to save this IIvi. If...

I got this resolved everyone. It was a bad trace repair that was touching another. This was not one I fixed but I should have checked others work.

I used freeCAD and yes it has a gear function to make it. Also has an add-on that can be added to make even more gears. I printed 40 of them today.

Can’t trace more. The signal originates from tmg chip goes to IPS then the video signal. It’s a timing clock signal so if that not there I do t think the video will come up good.

Sorry vid7m from pin 13 goes to the video chip after on pin 6. I have no signal at all on 13 or 6 but on other machine as soon as I turn on, I have signal wave.

You think good be something with the TMG chip as I have no video7M output from the chip only place I see something missing.
