For me, traces are not so bad but as soon as vias are gone both ends missing and no copper inside, it’s a done deal for a transfer. Simple trace repairs I would say 15 or less would try fix the board 16 or more do a transfer. Be sure you move the items needed from the back also.

Let me test mine and be sure it works before I make it available for others. The parts are hard to source due to shortages and some I had to pay much higher reprice for. You seeing over $100 there just on parts. Just so you know!!

Today I did an ultrasonic cleaning of the board then an IPA soak, rinse and sun shine time for a few hours. Afterwards, I came inside with the board to test and I was getting a chime and after a few seconds I would get fault code chime. 0000000F/00000033 was the code. I let the board soak up...

I got this solved. I checked all traces back to the sound chips and all were good. Then I checked the pin 5 on each sound chip and none were going to low. I removed the chips, cleaned and put them back in but in switched them around and all started working. Guess it was not in the socket good or...

I bought some ram simms also single and putting in the ram, I broke 2 of them. Brittle plastic I would say. Now I am very careful putting in and removing the ram.

OMG what you said I never thought about. The voltage level coming to the via pin 13 for the mouse click. This can very well be the issue where it is not being pulled down enough to trigger. Not even checking the level, I went ahead and changed the resister pack and DANG! it now works. So yes...

I have the schematics and using it heavily. The 6522 handles the other ports, talked with the rtc and iwm and all that is working. The mouse moves and that also comes from the 6522 via chip. Address lines are checked and seem fine to me. Compared to another machine is identical.
