The 475 I had was this way. I wound up installing a M0350's case lid on it, so it said "Macintosh LC", then "Performa 475" underneath. That meant that it had the indentation that went all the way to the edges, plus the plastic plug that filled the second floppy drive slot. Thought it looked...
I would go ahead and try the bodge. If it doesn't work, then it's time for another board, either a reloaded board, a good stock board, or modify the back panel and drop in a Centris/Quadra 650 board.

Anyhoo, 7100/80 has been completed, except for that one jumper I need to pull from the CD-ROM drive, and the need for the correct power harness with the pigtail for the cooling fan that goes above the processor. Pic is in the "What Did You Do To Your Apple/Mac Today?" thread.
The MPC-LX200 looks to be equipped with a Quantum Fireball SCSI 1.2GB drive. MO drive is a 640MB unit, probably made by Fujitsu.

^I dual boot mine. 7.5 for System 7 activities, and 6.0.8 for System 6 activities. Installed the Desktop Manager INIT in the System 6 system folder, so it uses the System 7 style Desktop DB and DF files, instead of adding the older Desktop file.
Picked up the 7100/66. Needed a lot of work, due to a Centris 650 with a bombed Maxell being stored atop it. Saved what was/is good. Got a 7100/80 coming to replace it.
I'd just recommend a 2GB or 4GB card, and partition it, if using on a 68K Mac. Can be had cheap on the used market, since most DSLRs that use CF are now equipped with 32GB or larger media, like this 128GB card -...
