Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
Might be worth trying to boot in verbose mode (command-V) and see what it hangs on.
*edit* Also, what SCSI card are you using? If it's a 2940UW or U2W, try removing the card, then reinstalling. It may work fine.
M5010 is just the dual 800K drive SE. Actually says "two 800K drives" on the back. M5011 is all the other SE variants, with a hard drive, as well as all FDHD/SuperDrive variants. The Macintosh ED was a 512Ke. Wasn't available as a regular 512K.
Personally, I'd choose a 512Ke for something...
It kinda looks like the gamma is off. Does the monitor show a rather yellow cast to it when connected to the other ci or your C650?
Anyway, nice score on both of the machines.
The LP and LPS series drives with the three ribbon cables look to only have the rubber bumpers in the head mechanism. Tore down the LP52S I got from RedJacketPress, and only saw them there. So, that would mean that the drives that have one ribbon cable probably have the under platter bumper...
I think the "A" board is a later version. Back in the '90s, I had two IIsi machines. First one had the darker green board installed. It also had problems with both the contacts for the speaker and power LED, and the contacts on the fan, the latter of which were what killed the board. Fan...
This really old thread on the 'fritter might be of use...

Apparently the 15AV is one of those monitors that cannot handle composite sync. Uses HSYNC.
If he does, then he can do it either by treating the G4 as a server, or vice versa, since it looks like Fetch and Transit work fine for FTPing into a modern Mac. Not unlike what I do with my iPhone and the FTP Manager app to transfer photos back and forth between it and my MBP.
To download directly from the garden, you can do it in OS X. Just use the last version of Firefox for PowerPC (or InterWebPPC), then load up the site normally. Some page rendering will look weird, but it works. I've done it a few times on both my G4 and my previous B&W G3.
The original USB keyboards with the power button will power up any desktop Mac through at least the A1186 Mac Pros. So, there is that option. Also, with the Griffin iMate, the power key on a M0115, etc, will power up most of the PowerMac G4 systems. Worked fine on my previous Digital Audio...
@tt those button cells were likely either alkaline or silver-oxide, both of which will leak, as evidenced by many older film cameras having corrosion in their battery chambers. With devices that use two 1.5 volt 357 (or PX76) style batteries, a better option is the CR 1/3N battery. Doesn't...
The Apple II mouse will come in handy if you wind up getting a 128K, 512K/Ke, or a Plus. It's the same mouse as a M0100. Which means you've created a way to adapt early Mac mice to ADB Macs, and, with a Griffin iMate or similar adapter to a USB machine.
Pop the spare into the IIcx, call it good, then revisit the flaky drive later. Suspect something got blown on the board, which is causing the motor to keep running. I had the opposite thing occur with a MP-F75W that accidentally bumped the chassis of my old Plus while said computer was turned...
