Could it be a soldering problem at the socket? It’s a multilayered board right? I don’t have any schematics of the logic board to check all traces…

Hi @schampango - yes, in my case the solution was to replace the rtc. Since that the se/30 still works without interruption. Though finding rtc chips isn’t easy; maybe you or someone else has a donator board…

I was trying different graphic formats some time ago to transfer images from new osx to osx 10.4 to system 7.1 - the best results I had using tga files… Maybe that helps. I‘m curious to hear if you were successful!
