Questions about Mac Handwriter: Does anyone have drivers for it? Has anyone here ever used one?

@defor- welp, I downloaded and installed the drivers....and it works! I was surprised that for the most part, it works like my modern Wacom tablet. I haven't tried drawing anything with it yet, so that will be the ultimate test!

MICRON Xceed Grey Scale video card with the works for sale on Buyee! I wonder how much this one will go for?

Another Micron Xceed grey scale video card for the SE/30 for sale, possibly a MacroColor 30? I'm sure the final selling price will be way over my budget! Looks like everything is there, including the neck board and the harness...

Questions about Mac Handwriter: Does anyone have drivers for it? Has anyone here ever used one?

@tsundoku @finkmac -I wasn't aware of that. I assumed-at least when I first saw it, before I bought it- that it was something akin to one of my Wacom tablets. So basically, this does what my old Palm Pilot did with handwriting, except in Japanese, which is pretty cool itself! Still, even...

Questions about Mac Handwriter: Does anyone have drivers for it? Has anyone here ever used one?

@LaPorta -Isn't it cool??!! I could do some really cool artwork with my old machines with this thing! @finkmac -I have extracted the drivers from the disks, but unfortunately I have not gotten them to work, even after using several different Mac O.S.'s. @tsundoku-I would definitely...

Questions about Mac Handwriter: Does anyone have drivers for it? Has anyone here ever used one?

Hello All! I bought this on Buyee Japan a little while back. As you can see, it's basically a Wacom tablet for your classic Macintosh. I've been trying to get it to work with either one of my SE's or SE/30's, but with no luck. The good news is that it did come with driver disks...

Just won a 50MHz DiiMO with FPU on Buyee!

Very nice! I saw that auction go off as well. If you don't already have one, you will definitely like the VDR-2a. Besides being able to do millions of colors, it is also one of the most compatible video cards (in its ability to play nice with accelerators and adapters for the SE/30) that I...

    Interware VDR-1A Cable Pinout Needed

Hey everyone! I recently won an Interware VDR-1A video card. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the video out cable that attaches to the card. Does anybody have a pinout diagram of the cable, or just a picture of one so that I can make a cable for this card? Thanks!

Just won a 50MHz DiiMO with FPU on Buyee!

@jasa1063 -I've seen that other Diimo 030 on Buyee for about a year now...I wondered who got it! The seller was originally trying to get something like $1200 for it. Good score:cool:

My first SE/30 - will I be happy or sad?

It depends on how many things got taken out when the Maxell battery exploded. It might be possible to salvage, but unfortunately it's not gonna be easy.

Micron Xceed MacroColor 30 original instruction manual

@joshc -Thanks! I've never actually seen a manual for one of the xceed cards in the wild before. Too bad it didn't actually come with an Xceed MacroColor 30

Radius '020 accelerator with SE FDHD/SuperDrive?

My guess would be yes. I have a Radius 16Mhz Accelerator in one of my SE's with and 800k drive; I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work with a 1.44Mb onw.

Micron Xceed MacroColor 30 original instruction manual

So a few weeks back I bid on and won an Interware VDR-1A video card from Buyee. But the real interesting thing.....at least to me-is that it came in an original Micron Xceed box, and came with all of the supporting documentation for a Micron Xceed MacroColor 30 card! This includes the original...

Scored an SE/30 with a video card on buyee

@BacioiuC -Did your video card end up being a Grand Vimage 24-16? I've got one myself in my SE/30, the thing is sweet!

MicroMac DiiMO and RasterOps 264/30… Compatibility Issues?

@Macobyte -they're the best. I've had the least compatibility issues with them. Occasionally you see one pop up on Buyee: https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/v1059621868?conversionType=buyee_top_browsing_history

MicroMac DiiMO and RasterOps 264/30… Compatibility Issues?

@Macobyte- I do. I have had similar issues trying to get a RasterOps 264/30 to work with an accelerator card in my SE/30. My current setup is an SE/30 with one of Bolle's adapters (the tall one with the integrated NIC), a Daystar 68030 50mhz and an Interware GrandVimage video card. All of...

Announcing ZuluSCSI - A file-based SCSI device emulator

Correction: I meant to add that after programing the SCSI2SD with the utility, it then works on pretty much any SCSI-based Mac with little to no issues. Like most folks here, I've found the SCSI2SD drives to be game-changers with classic Macs.

Announcing ZuluSCSI - A file-based SCSI device emulator

I'm talking about the Windows utility that I and many other use to program the standard SCSI2SD devices. Here's a picture of it in action: Usually what I do is plug the SCSI2SD device into my Windows computer, assign it a SCSI ID, assign it a device size, and it works. This utility doesn't...

Announcing ZuluSCSI - A file-based SCSI device emulator

I bought a ZuluSCSI V1.1 about a month ago and am finally getting around to setting it up for installation in a Macintosh SE/30. I bought it with the assumption that I would be able to set it up just like a standard SCSI2SD drive-using the scsi2sd utility for Windows (via USB) with it's easy to...
