It has the standard Mac II video card. I know for sure that it doesn't power up, so I'll start with a recap on the logic board, the power supply. I'd like to run system 6.0.8 on it, so I can get my Mac286 card working.
Added a Mac IIx to the collection. I haven't got it yet, but I'll post some pics when it comes in.
As far as I can tell, it's all there except a hard drive. It's going to need some work.
Started up with No extensions-- no problems. Acceleration was fine.
Turns out that the problem is A/ROSE. But that kills the Apple Ethernet card.
I'll have to swap the card out with an Asante ethernet card.
Thanks Steve --Looks like the Spec 24 III is not Power Mac compatible. The Turbo 040 is a 68040, and the Supermac card works OK, but it has Quick Draw issues when the acceleration is on under 7.1.1. My guess is there's a higher version ROM. This one is 1.1

I have a Spectrum 24/III with the daughter card. It's installed in a IIci, with a Daystar Turbo 040.
I'm running 7.1.1 on the IIci.
With the acceleration ON, I get a corrupted display when scrolling the contents of a window.
I've tried turning off Virtual Memory, and I don't have a ton of...
Thanks-- I tried it with 24 bit addressing- no go. I think the 286 versions had DOS in ROM. Not 100 percent sure though.
I have System 7 Pro and a Turbo 040 card in my IIci. Guess I'll have to pull the 040 and try 6.0.7
I have a SCSI2SD in there, so I can toss in another SD Card.
I figured it would not work in a 7100-- I tried it in my IIci, but forgot to turn off 32 bit addressing. The software seemed to boot up, but I didn't see a DOS window or any way to get to DOS. Can't find any docs on the web, there's basically nothing out there on this card. Mine is the dual...
I just bought that exact card. Should have it this week. I can test it in my IIci. I have a PROM Burner that I can dig out and make you a copy. The ROM on mine says V1.2.2 The only thing I'm not sure of is if I have any 256K EPROMS.
I may be able to load it into the burner and save to disk...
What did you use to mount the new drive in your Cube? I modified the cover of my old drive into a mount. There was a member of the old Cubeowner forum that used to 3-D print them.
