    Several findings on computerpartsgalore.com

Some of the prices aren't bad really. I looked at the SuperMac video cards but there's no way to tell what card it really is. The part numbers mean nothing and not "Google-able"

    7.1 vs 7.5.3 on a Color Classic

Hi all, I'm setting up my new Color Classic and it came with 7.1 on it so I copied 7.5.3 to my SCSI2SD and replaced the OS with the newer one. I immediately noticed a significant slow down in boot time and general response. Is 7.5.3 that much slower than 7.1? or is there something I'm missing...

Color Classic doesn't boot off external HD

I just followed the Savage Taylor guide on a Mac and it worked fine. I understand you're on Windows though. I'm on Mojave running Basilisk II. I imaged my Basilisk drive to with Disk Copy 4.2 and saved it to my shared Basilisk drive. I then used dd in the terminal to copy it to my SD card.

    SCSI2SD and se/30

They are SCSI devices so they would use a 25 pin SCSI cable and a power supply, just like a hard drive.

Just bought a Color Classic, no power

It's a RetroPie. Raspberry Pie with emulators for just about every retro system that ever was. Really inexpensive to build and fairly easy to learn the basics. The convenience of having almost every console game of the 70s, 80s and 90s in one unit is priceless! The CC is from ebay. I picked it...

Just bought a Color Classic, no power

Got it running, it was the fact I was using a NeXT keyboard and the switch is wired different. I hooked up an Apple ADB keyboard, hit the power switch and Voila!

Just bought a Color Classic, no power

I pulled the MB out and heard the fan come on when power turned on. So it's something on the MB I guess. I'm using a NeXT ADB keyboard and mouse. Do I have to have a Mac keyboard plugged in and use the keyboard power button? I also tried booting with no ADB device at all, same issue. I removed...

Just bought a Color Classic, no power

I just received my new color classic and plugged it in and no power, no led, no nothing. I pulled the MB and saw that the battery had been taken out. Will a CC boot with no battery at all? Could that be the problem? What else should I look at? The pics on ebay showed the computer running with a...

Is all Macs the one in Florida? Are you happy with the work overall? I have an SE/30, a IIsi, an LCII that need recapping. I don't have the equipment or the skill to do this so I'm looking for a source.

Can someone post a pic of a Mac II drive sled?

I did, I just wanted a picture so if I ran across one on ebay. It's the same sled for all the double wide Mac II series.
