@luRaichu had asked in a profile post about swapping the circuit board from a SuperDrive to an 800K drive to convert it. I know from personal experience that won't work because at the very least the chassis is slightly different between the two and it won't fit.

Then it's that way. :) I don't know which head is the default one for which side. It's whichever head reads side one (whichever side that is).

@lostkerbal I don't know if this one has a similar insides as the AppleColor High Resolution display, but mine had a similar issue that was caused by a large coil being loose. The plastic became super brittle and it broke free from the bracket. I repaired the plastic bar with some super glue...
@beachycove Maybe the LaserWriter doesn't do it. I don't know. Or maybe it was unique to the business line of HP LaserJets. The only time it'd be useful is if you had multiple people printing large documents. It'd spool the print job to the printer and store it there. I don't know if it was...
@beachycove A little bit of both. When you set up the printer options on the client to indicate it has a HDD installed, then presumably it'll flag that option as it prints. Then depending on the size of the document, it'll store the print job and do copies. I'm not certain, but it might be...
I forgot which one I have, but it's the original Radius version of the card that Apple licensed. I was going to swap the ROMs so I wouldn't need additional drivers.
