I'll have to look at all of this when I get on

    Macintosh Classic horizontal line

I still don't know where the capacitors are I need to replace, it doesn't say anywhere online, and I'm thinking about trying the analog board from my SE FDHD.

    Macintosh Classic horizontal line

When I was playing around with mine (I think it was when I installed some more ram), I also got a broken line. I also get no bong, but it might be the speaker because on my se/30 (my only sort of functioning 68k mac) it doesn't do a bong and won't play any sound at all.

I've found a battery, but now I need a wire to connect it to the terminals. What/where's the best place to get them (it has F1 terminals)?

    Macintosh Portable battery replacement

I got a Macintosh portable with the original battery, and of course, the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. I looked online about how to (try and) turn it on. It worked but the only weird thing about it is that I need to use a Powerbook power adapter with it (good thing it came with both a...

    Macintosh Classic horizontal line

I got 2 Macintosh classic's (with some other stuff) not so long ago, and when I booted up the Mac classics, they both had this line (see picture, although one of them was a little dimmer. Also one in the pic has had varying results). One of them crapped out while I was trying to fix it and smelt...

Trying (and failing) to create a System 7 boot drive

Congrats on getting your Color Classic to work, i'm trying to make a system 6/7 boot disk for my SE/30 and have seen the guide posted above ( This ), but I haven't tried it yet, so I wanted to ask you if you just followed the guide, because you said earlier that Winimage only accepted .bin files.
