I have a Macintosh plus and I took off the paper off the analog board I saw what no computer repairman wants to see. Corrosion all along the board. Most of it was clean but some parts had a boat 2 by 2 inches of the board completely corroded. I want to know what to do to jump them. They all are...
(I recommend to take pictures along the way so if you forget something you will know where it went.)Discharged the CRT first of all. take out everything but be careful with the crt it has glass full of lead that will get stuck under your skin. Also if it is broken it can explode (NEVER HANDLE A...
I cant yet without the equipment its my last priority to mess with the crt right now.

Thanks but i still think a new board should fix. Because it would be a waist to get something and then have it turn out not to fix it. Does the board model need to be the same or can i just get an older version of one that has different chips for a cheaper price?
But the good thing is It was...
