The image is on the storage contained within the (extended) memory of the rom itself. What images do you have on the BlueSCSI? If you only have 4mb installed, that might not be enough to actually load the OS.

Yup. Fascinating; where did you tap the probe? It sounds like the issue really is related to the traces. (If the pattern is indeed a vertical jailbar).

Check the schematics and tap your multimeter to each of the chips where the traces say they should lead. If you have continuity, move on to the next trace, and so on and so forth. I had to do it to get a (admittedly less severe) video issue fixed with my own SE/30. Relevant schematics and such...

Got the radiusware software. Took a couple of restarts, but everything works now. The ghosting issue is still happening, so I assume I must need to recap it or something like that.

I agree with this, it's something I learned for myself, and have now done a few more times. I use my Classic for writing, though I'm moving my work to my SE/30 soon. Compacts make nice word processors, and the 030 lets Word run just a bit faster.

Not sure about TTL but I'd guess V-select is the sense signal that indicates which way around the monitor is, as IIRC in my research I came across that it uses a mercury switch to detect it.

I dug into both the macintosh video pinout and the color pivot pinouts, and while they don't necessarily have any bearing on the monochrome Pivot, I think I saw some parallels.

I have a monochrome Pivot monitor (0194) with the DB-9 video connector, but I do not have the cable. I've seen people talking about finding the pinout for the DB-15 to DB-9 that goes between the card and the monitor, but I cannot for the life of me find anywhere that someone actually posted it...

Did you ever get that pinout? I'm looking at a 0194 for sale but it does not have the cable.
