USB/Firewire cards (or chipsets) that work in the TAM

Steve Jobs? I was under the impression that it was mr. jobs himself who pulled the plug on these machines.

Really? I owned and refurbished several of them. :) BTW the colour classics, TAM's and Cubes in The Netherlands are way overpriced in The Netherlands. But that's my opinion...

I refurbished a Classic once for a professor in Maastricht. It had research software on it that the ICT department of the University couldn't translate to Windows. The professor was over the moon when he saw his old piece of software working again. It was very satisfying.

UvA is Amsterdam. But now it's in Groningen. Just look it up. It's still a few kilometres from West Virginia.

WoW. Big spender. An offer of 10 euro! Do you expect the seller to take that seriously? Are you living in The Netherlands? Or do you expect the seller to ship it to the States? He's now thinking of donating it to the Apple Museum in The Netherlands by the way.

No it's not mine but I've dealt with the seller in the past. I pointed him to this forum and now he feeds me all the information. In fact he just mailed me that he has been approached by the guy that did the modifications.

    Bluetooth transmitter for iPod 160GB

Just a few days after my posting I came across a Creative BT-D5 Bluetooth transmitter on our equivalent of Craigslist. I picked it up for just 10 euro and now my iPod classic has Bluetooth. And I can use the buttons on my car radio to skip to the next song. It does exactly what I want...

    Bluetooth transmitter for iPod 160GB

Not really 68MLa-like but there is a lot of experience here so I would like to hear your opinion. A week ago I got a hold of a very beautiful iPod 160GB. It’s hardly used and in great condition. I would like to use it wireless on my car radio. Of course I know there are FM transmitters but I...

    Motorola Starmax 3000/180

Thanks. It's not my intention to use it as my main computer. It's just a hobby. Of course they are ugly as hell but I like that it has mainstream connectors like ps/2 and svga and that it has pci slots. It could be a nice machine for experiments.

Ever seen this Apple monitor before?

Wow. In my opinion, it's still the best technology for a flat television to this day.
