Really? I owned and refurbished several of them. :) BTW the colour classics, TAM's and Cubes in The Netherlands are way overpriced in The Netherlands. But that's my opinion...

I refurbished a Classic once for a professor in Maastricht. It had research software on it that the ICT department of the University couldn't translate to Windows. The professor was over the moon when he saw his old piece of software working again. It was very satisfying.

No it's not mine but I've dealt with the seller in the past. I pointed him to this forum and now he feeds me all the information. In fact he just mailed me that he has been approached by the guy that did the modifications.

Thanks. It's not my intention to use it as my main computer. It's just a hobby. Of course they are ugly as hell but I like that it has mainstream connectors like ps/2 and svga and that it has pci slots. It could be a nice machine for experiments.

Any thoughts on the Motorola Starmax 3000/180? I can get one cheap. :)
