Does anyone know which bracket I need for this outbreak card of a Asante Network card? I’ve got the one in photo 2 but it doesn’t seem to fit. It’s for a SE/30.
Tried that. Didn't work
Tried a second and a third cable. Didn't work.
It was a universal disk
My PowerBook G4 works fine on the same connection. My Se/30 too.
It works with other old Macs
I know but I want internet and a connection to my Macs. Again: this all works with my other old Macs...
It's not working under OS9 too. And no firewire unfortunately. And 10.4 is possible but only with Xpostfacto. I was going to try that but I want the opinion of forum members about my problems before I do.
I've got a iBook G3 366MHz SE (without firewire) and I've got a problem. It doesn'connect it to a network. Not on OS9 and not on OSX 10.3. Not with a networkcable. Not with airport (Yes I know about web security) I even got a Vonet wifi connector and that doesn't work too. What am I doing wrong...

I’ve got a SE/30 with bluescsi and a working network card. But there is something strange going on. It has system 8. Time in the menu bar is frozen. I tried the regular date and time control panel, setdate and Vremya. I can set the date and time but it doesn’t run. It’s frozen. Pram battery is...
Hi,
I bought the CF2IDE print and a 64GB CF card. Yes I know, 64GB is ridiculously large but I got it cheap. I own a PowerBook 1400cs 166MHz and I want the CF as my start up disk. I can read and write to the CF card on the CF2IDE card in OS 9 on another PowerBook. The 1400cs has 8.1 on it. I...
I Just got a powerbook duo 210 today. I started it up. Looked at the installed files, powered it down, closed the lid an left the charger connected. After a few minutes a loud ‘pop’ and smoke came from the charger.
Is the charger salvagable?
I connected the pb to a 1400cs charger. It worked...
It’s installed with the universal 9.2.2 disc from macos9lives. That disc has no trackpad control panel. Is it even necessary on os9?
Can I do something on the software side of things?thanks!
