WOW Dylan, glad you were able to pick those up. They went in a good home for sure. Now you can build your own "wall-of-macs" when you get them working. Those were advertised at retromaccast site yesterday.

The 512k ED works just fine when i booted it the otherday. Now just put together an package with keyboard and mouse to it so i can sell it (locally). I think i could get something like 50€ for it.

Picked an boxed, sealed and free Macbook 13" MagSafe Power Adapter 60W (model MA538G/A). That's good as i was one unit short of what we have Macbooks of :) And, i am scanning (when time permits) that Bill Budge's 3-D Graphic System and Game Tool -manual. I'll upload it when done, to asimov ftp.

Macintosh II feels like (now long time afterwards) going back in a sense to the concept of Apple ][ - with the expansion slots and all. And oh man, it was B I G .

Swapping parts, i won't take that road, i don't want to risk breaking the old chips. If can find replacement CPU that's an option for sure. Need to test with another internal power converter as well, it might be out of specs/half dead as now on power-up it will only display slight narrow...

Got an another //c yesterday wich outputs only "garbage" (i.e. random characters) on screen. Opened up the machine and cleaned up, pressed the chips. Will try today again with another monitor, cable and power supply. Or are we looking at ROM problem or so? The board itself is clean, no leaks, no...

Yeah, the card seems to be 16k language card with EPROM with F800 Auto-Start ROM on it.

The dark green slots and "Apple Computer Inc. 1978" in the middle, tells me it's revision 4 board. If you look closely there might be text "REV 4" under one slot in the middle (closer to CPU) or under the CPU if you lift it. I have the same revision board on my Apple II+ (8011) -&gt...
