For those users, who might have an Apple //e PAL machine, just an note that if you're having trouble with colour output, take a look of the motherboard. There's an dip switch in the middle-right end of the board (see picture) where you can choose OSC1<->OSC2 oscillator. I had very...

Decked out Apple IIgs vs. Decked out PLUS

Apple IIgs for sure. It had the color, the much larger software base as well expansion possibilities, even back in the day, getting IIgs specific cards/software would mean ordering them abroad, as IIgs was not even sold in Finland. In same catelogory the Amiga 1000/500 had that market seqment...

Bought an OSX 10.1 Puma in retail box for 10€, even per say, i'm not collector of original software but i am sucker for good-old-boxed software boxes if the price is right. Now i kind of need other OSX versions boxed too. Only have actually, if my memory serves me right, 10.3, 10.4 (server?)...

It's a real pain to try make images of the Service Source -batch of CD's. Those are soooo scratchy. If nothing else helps, i'll save the individual files out of there what is readable. If my systems fail at work, i'll try old/er desktop PC at work.

I just had to post few shots (cellphone) of the box covers. Wow, Apple used to have sense of humour back in early 1990's with the designs! Gotta love these.

Those earlier 1990's disk covers (1992-1993) are really funny! I need to scan some later they are just so cool. There were also OS 8 stuff there as well all imagineable Apple products inc. Pippin and Newton. Made an list of them. Will try to start making disk images when time permits...

    Cosmo's latest . . .

Atleast those in pictures (7.0, 7.1), there's lots of disks with System software inside i'd say dev. versions and betas of 7.0, 7.1, 7.5 etc (also OS 8 and maybe even OS 9). I have not had time yet to go thru them. I'll check them thru when time permits at evenings. I'll list, image the disks...

Got a bag of Apple Developer CD's from 1991-1998 from Juhani (julehti) today. He used to be an Apple developer back in 1990's and kept all the disks. Lots of intresting stuff like System 7 beta's, System 7 Golden master and some WWDC disks as well.
