I got mine in 2015 too and it was the payment for a job I did. It started out as a basic model (lowest speed 12 core) then…. Well, it went downhill since then
The 2010 cMP is a great machine. Id buy a pair of 3.46ghz 6cores off ebay, you can get a pair for real cheap, I think I paid something like 40 euros two years ago.
Bolle, would this also work for the 575 that is built using the same architecture? I dont have the LB in front of me, but I believe there should be a resistor network that is similar
I am also looking at lcd polarizer film to recover a couple of my prized HP palmtops, the problem is light transmittancy, original had may be 46% these are more like 38% so the image could be darker…. some vendors on aliexpress do sell LCD specific film but I yet have to bit the bullet
Well, let's say that 90% of all LC-PDS cards are NICs anyway. I managed to get - at a very high price - a Weitek Power9000 based LC-PDS video card, called the Micron Xceed Color Fusion, and they are incredibly rare, like 0,1% of all cards. The rest of the cards available are split among other...
in addition to all the fine suggestions above…
Upgrade VRAM to 1mb. The 475 takes lots of RAM, so Id replace the SIMM with a 32 or 64mb. Look for an interesting LC-PDS card, like 90% are NICs, but there are interesting cards like video accelerators.
This guy sells "9.2.2 Ready" G4 Mac Minis with the OS preinstalled. He uses fast SATA SSddrives and the Mini already has the 9200 card in it. Details are included in his post, also links to Macos9lives:

That Is Crazy. And I intend this with the utmost sincerity and respect.
In my case, I did want to make a 6200 case Frankenmac, and once I managed to finish it like you initially designed, with a 6500 LB and a Sonnet G3 500/1MB, and found out - just like you - that it would not suffice (and i...
OK, so you changed the electrolytic caps - there are only two in the oval, as one is an inductor - oralso theblue square ones, that are film? Do you have a thermal image of the hot spots? There's a power diode between these film caps and the line output transistor, DL4 I think, that also gets...
You mean the caps get hot? Or the line output transistor? It’s the one on the heatsink. If this gets hot, that’s more or less normal, the caps are film so if they get hot maybe you should check them.
If you connect it to mains, chances are it will sort of explode… stinking up the place. Giving you half a heart attack, due to the Rifa cap breaking down. The power brick will still work of course, however you will need to open it up and recap it. Just do it before going through all this!
Reporting success with the Adaptec 1210SA card, just lift the VCC just the way Carlito's done... hehe, Carlito's Way, it went over my head the first time, now it's so obvious :ROFLMAO:
Actually, I have to say it's the easiest way to do it and also the quality of the card is orders of magnitude...
The easiest way is to use the external SCSI port with a standard HD enclosure. Which, btw, would also be uber useful for a lot of other things given you have multiple machines.
