    Struggling with Performa 6360--need help

AHHH. Well I learned something. So based on what @3lectr1cPPC said, I'm wondering if I need to try another SCSI device. I don't own one, but I could pick one up.

    Struggling with Performa 6360--need help

I replaced the battery but that area looks fine. Edge connector also looks fine. I cleaned it with IPA. I just sold the 6300 so I can’t use that for testing purposes any more.

    Struggling with Performa 6360--need help

Hey guys, I decided to wave the white flag and ask for help with this Performa 6360 that I recently picked up on Fleabay (I know, I know, I'm regretting it) So the computer chimes when I power it on and the HDD works fine. However, the floppy and CD player were unresponsive. When I tried to...

    MIDI for SE/30

Hey guys, Trying to get my SE/30 to talk to my old MIDI keyboard. I tried using my old Passport MIDI interface. IT works with Mac and my IIGS, but it's old and I sure can't get the SE/30 to recognize it. I don't have any software to go with it. Can someone recommend an interface the would...

Help getting MacOS 7.6 on SE/30

Well I stuck to the adage if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try, try, try again. I found the directions to be crap so I utilized a combination of Sheepshaver, MinivMac, Apple Legacy Recovery image and two BlueSCSIs to turn my SE/30 into a triple boot currently running 7.6.1...

Help getting MacOS 7.6 on SE/30

Looks like you were right. I guess the folders on my floppy emu are wrong. I downloaded 7.0.1 floppies but now it's telling me that I can't modify the disk because it is locked. How do I unlock it? I tried making another copy of it, but the copy of the mounted disk is locked as well. I...

Help getting MacOS 7.6 on SE/30

Hey guys. I am trying to get OS 7.6 on my SE/30 following the installation of my Rominator II. I am using the instructions found here from the nice folks at BMOW. https://www.bigmessowires.com/mac-se30-with-upgraded-rom/ I am stuck on the step that says to modify a 7.0.1 Disk Tools floppy by...

    Performa 6360 and BlueSCSI

Here's what I found when I pulled the logic board. Oops. How does that even happen? Sure, I've blown a cap when I soldered it in backwards BUT who else would do that?!
