Mac II with Turbo 040 - Unimplemented Trap

Hmmm have you considered trying with something besides the scsi2sd? I know it might sound dumb but I feel like it’s worth trying.

Mac II with Turbo 040 - Unimplemented Trap

Ok I just sent you a link to it on my dropbox. Sorry it's so large I didn't want to risk messing it up by compressing it.

Mac II with Turbo 040 - Unimplemented Trap

Ok let me see what I can do standby. This is from my Rev 1 Zulu so will be an .hda image, not sure how you get it to a SCSI2SD as I never had one of those but hopefully it helps.

Mac II with Turbo 040 - Unimplemented Trap

@esselfortium Are you using a spinning disk drive, or something else? I can send you a 2GB 7.1 that I used with my Rev B Mac II if you want to try that. Doesn't get you to 7.5.X though.

    SuperMac C600 drive mounting rails

Not sure about your machine but on mine it is even more frustrating, because only one side uses a rail. The rear side of the case is non removable so uses a rail, and the other side normal screws. :( So just one stupid rail and I'd be good. I have an idea for cutting down a dell rail that might...

ZuluSCSI Compact Homebrew - A Smaller, Faster, and More Capable RP2040-based SCSI emulator

That seems like a nightmare as far as how many drive variants are out there etc. Also I think it's important to keep in mind that while this is a mac forum, these get used in all sorts of other machines as well that aren't quite as similar. He has to manufacture somewhat standard stuff that can...

ZuluSCSI Compact Homebrew - A Smaller, Faster, and More Capable RP2040-based SCSI emulator

I did not realize this, I just checked with some adapters I have and this is going to make mounting these a cinch. That would be some really good info to put on your product pages on the store. :) Shoot see if Pizzgiri cares if you offer that adapter board as a checkout option on your drop-down...

    SuperMac C600 drive mounting rails

I'm no help but I can sympathize, I need bezels or mounting railes for my PTP, as well, and I can't seem to find any that match at all. :(

Yes something about it, it’s like the generic pc style plain square box but somehow with just this tiny bit of style that makes it stand out. I think maybe it’s the bezels shame everything is so fragile on these. I do have one that is my prime example currently mothballed while I work on other...

Problem with Mercury Electra SSD in beige MiniTower G3?

Those SSD to IDE adapters are very very unlikely to work in those older machines. I think that some have used them in G4 towers, but anything older than that I don't think they work terribly well.

Power Mac 7500-9600 Bus Speed Overclocking

Just use dosdudes utility in OS 9 and your done. This works for your Rabbit Hole computing card and is very simple. http://dosdude1.com/files/macstuff/PCISataROMs/flashers/SeriTek1S2Flasher_5.1.3.sit.hqx

Proactive maintenance on a machine stored in an attic?

I mean from here on out just store it in climate control area. :) I'm in Georgia too, so I sympathize on the weather! What part are you from?

ZuluSCSI Compact Homebrew - A Smaller, Faster, and More Capable RP2040-based SCSI emulator

Oooh!! Any chance you will sell these? Or make them available somewhere? I have the same problem. I’ve just been buying the full size ones because they are so much easier to mount.

    MDD Zip 750 NIB

Alright so I took a look at this and the deal is that MO disks aren’t as wide so if you have an MO bezel it will not work for Zip disks. But a Zip disc bezel should work with MO drives.

Just Added Some RAM to My 8600/300

This might be true of things that are necessities (food, gas, water, housing, utlities, etc.) However, this completely breaks down for things that are not necessities, because if the price is to high people simply don’t pay because they don’t “have to have it” because it is not essential to life...

    MDD Zip 750 NIB

I thought they were interchangeable too, but the MO bezels I have for the graphite G4 style do not work with zip drives.... So worth checking for sure... It maybe that the ZIP bezels work with both MO and ZIP, and MO only work with MO or some similar combo, not quite sure.

Just Added Some RAM to My 8600/300

Really winds me up when people confuse ethics with this sort of thing, it's not the last loaf of bread and case of water that will keep people alive. This is all completely optional stuff, none of us can get on a high horse and say we "need" any of this, so pricing is whatever it is. People can...
