Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
This card is different from the one pictured in that ad, definitely, only chips are similar.
I did a bit of a research (am I wasting my time, I won't be using it anyway?) and found following info on the chips:
TPC1010AFN - CMOS FIELD-PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAYS - Texas Instruments
M5M4C264L -...
Thanks for reminding me about "Gauge Series"! See what happens, when one doesn't visit 68k land on the daily basis :(
Look what SlotInfo reported:
1. Super Mac Thunder II 1152 v.3
2. E-Machines Ultura LX v.2
Here's the back of the card.
I plugged it into my Q605/40 - "SlotInfo" doesn't see it. Checked with Asante Ethernet card - it shows up. That's probably because I installed Asante's drivers on that hard drive at some time in the past.
Now I find talking to myself...
Judging by the numbers on small quartz oscillator (4S1431A)
which, I think, is marking for 14.31 MHz and looking at this picture (note the similarities - same Texas Instruments chip, same rotary switch, vertical RAM chips)...
Hello NuBus experts and collectors.
Can you please, help me to identify these two cards?
I could not find any information regarding their resolutions capability.
Video NuBus card monitor matrix:
http://home.earthlink.net/%7Egamba2/vid-mon-matrix.html
has E-Machines "Ultra LX" listed, but...
Cloning PCB could be done, but what are you going to do about chips that are now in unobtanium? And who's going to program all those GAL's, even if you manage to buy some old stock?
Cheers,
ojfd
Those two cable ports connect to optional daughterboard with another optical connector therefore making the whole assembly a DAS (Dual Attach Station). I've got that one too, but haven't made picture yet.
Anyone know how to upload PDFs? I can upload manual for those that are interested...
Hi guys,
I just wanted to show what I have, just FYI.
Did you know that something like that existed?
It's Cabletron F6069 multimode fiber network adapter. Supposed to work at around 100 Mb/s, although I wasn't able to get it to run that fast. I think NuBus itself is a bottleneck.
Works...
Does anyone know this software? Does it work like advertised back then? Is it worth searching for it?
PaperPower 1.0. (Piptel graphics-tablet utility)

Boy, this is trip to the past.. :-)
Other interfaces that will work with your SA card are:
DAT I/O (for digital transfers)
and
PRO I/O (A/D and D/A only)
This one is sort of 'super duper' box - analog power supply, Apogee filters, video and word clock sync and so on
Sorry for the...
That was me, ojfd, I wanted to downclock several PM8100/100 and 110
So, You're the one behind the Turbo601/66 chipping project mentioned on Schreier's page? If so, is it enough to just pull respective clock ratio pins on ICS9178 low or high to get the desired effect?
Cheers,
ojfd
Btw, I'm...
ClassicHasClass, You are THE MAN! Your efforts are highly appreciated! Thank You!
Please, please! It drives me nuts that I can't navigate normally on some sites, especially eBay.
I am still on all sorts of Classic and won't be switching to OsX anytime soon. Only if the bastards will force me...
This is not quite correct. I have several PPC machines running 7.6.1 that boot off of a 4 and 9 gig drives. If I remember correctly, it was only true for 68k models (2GB limitation in ROM or something).
Also not quite correct. ATTO was a pain, but FWB Jackhammer (both Nubus) gave me no problems...
