Did a full recap of the board, this resolved audio issues and reset problems but sadly the ghosting is still there.
I think the analog board is in need of repairs yeah
I calibrated the brightness / cut-off, but on a cold boot it is way too bright (so bright that on its lowest setting there...
Both analog board and mainboard?
I'm finishing the recap of the mainboard on this mac tonight hopefully and I'll see if that resolves anything. I'll also be checking the video lines for any cracks and verify that any resistors or capacitors on its path are functioning.
Especially R20/R21/R22...
I did, the issue wasn't resolved and the crystal showed no odd behaviour in other tests. Important is that the crystal is not at fault a lot of the times with this IC (Egret), but the IC itself is no longer able to drive the crystal.

I don't think I've ever posted this fix anywhere other then YouTube, but it might help people who just can't get their 68k mac to boot or can't seem to find the fix for their cold booting problems.

The iMac G3 should have an intergrated ethernet port though, any reason not to use it?
Okay so it came in and I installed it, only its not completly working... I've installed MacTCP and the orginal drivers that came with it, but there is no sign of life comming from the ethernet cable (my switch detects nothing). The card is not broken, because the included hardware dignostic...
So I picked up an Macintosh SE FDHD to get software moved between my pc and both my Macintosh SE's. After replaceing some ram that died after 5 minutes of running its doing all nice, no leaking caps and running stable!
So I currently have: 1 Macintosh SE, 1 Macintosh SE FDHD and 1 400/800K...
