Yep -- I don't use it much though. I have it set to turn off the light after 5 seconds, and when I notice it on, I turn it off. I find in the dark, I can see the text on the keys better than I can when the backlight is on.

It's serial. Since there are so many apps on it already in 9, if I do install X on it, I won't erase 9. :) It has a thin-SCSI card, but I dunno what type of HD is inside. Also forgot to mention it came with the original box :)
