This only applies to disk images restored to floppies via DART on certain Macintosh models. If the disks were restored with Disk Copy 4.2, they'll have the proper bit-slip. The slowness is a symptom of not having an 800K I/O ROM. Experimenting with restoring either pin 20 or 9 might help.

Actually the Lisa's emulation of the Mac was very very close. What it lacked was sound and this was due to the lack of hardware that supported proper sound. There actually was a sound card for MacWorks, but I'm not sure how close it was to the Mac's. Only applications that did not follow...

The wider one is probably the 24 pin parallel port connector cable, that one goes to the Widget hard drive, well, it would if you had one. Don't attempt to plug that one into the floppy drive. The narrower one should go to the floppy drive. I'm not sure how a 2/10's floppy is wired exactly...

It's a standard pin connector, much like those used on PC floppies, but a different pin count. One row is odd, the other even, pin 1 is red, count from there. It's also marked on the drive end, so once you get a drive, you can work from there to find the right lines.

You probably have a Lisa 2/10, but lacking a hard drive is a death blow since you can't do very much with a Lisa without one. There is a replacement for these here: http://www.sigmasevensystems.com/xprofile but they are expensive. You can buy them here...

It's fixable. You can't replace a Lisa's 400K floppy drive with an 800K drive directly. If your drive continually ejects, that's a symptom that you're using an 800k drive in a Lisa with a 400K I/O ROM. To fix that you'd need to remove pins 9 and 20 from the drive. I don't recommend that...
