macbook pro ugly power hack today

I probably will do that soon. I already have a bench grinder, Milwaukee hammer drill, drill bits, and my tool bag of screw drivers, nut drivers, allen keys, pliers, and wire strippers. I'm on the road to mobile repair. :p I wish more people would do stuff like me and you do dude.

    12" ibook G4

Yes they're very good machines. I got mine doing video editing and ProPresenter duty sometimes. ProPresenter is not supposed to be working on a G4. They say you need a G5 or better. :p

    $15 QuickSilver

You should stick 1.25GB in it, or 1.5GB. I use mine as a file server and on and off web surfer when I'm in a desktop mood. It also runs a triple screen setup, downloads videos and other files, and has 4 HD's inside. G4's are the best newer mac's out there, cheap, not too slow yet, and you can...

    Potentional G5 conquest

Well, one of the bigger churches in my churches network has a small recording studio for spoken word stuff and they have dual 2GHz(early 2005) G5 sitting around. I asked about and my friend who asked the head audio tech said it was "dead". I've been my friends computer support for a while so...

    iBook G4

I've found that if you're careful enough, a flat head screw driver works fine for popping the case off. No marks either.

    StyleWriter on newer machines

Supposedly I heard that some guy modified the CUPS drivers so that it'll support such devices. I've got it bookmarked on one of the machines I use..... @DogCow - My question was, is there a specific apple mini 8 din to usb adapter.

    StyleWriter on newer machines

Is there a possible way I can use the StyleWriter I got in a recent conquest? It's the first StyleWriter, not II or anything. I got a Performa 400 with the Stylewriter btw.

    iMac :D

I love the speakers in those very much, it's just a shame that at lowest volume, I can't use them at night when I had one of those. Man, now I want a G3 iMac again....

The original CRT iMac's popularity today

My friend uses an Indigo iMac to control a small DMX light board for a small chapel. It's pretty wicked.

    68kmla & iPhone

Is it that hard to just scroll a little bit more when people mis-use the quote option? And why can't the mod's just edit the quotes or remove them entirely and add a little note like they do with other things? I'm sorry but this is getting out of hand on how communistic this place is getting...

    Interesting conquest

I've seen that Pioneer Cartridge in pretty much every single 6 disc CD changer Pioneer ever made. Which is awesome because it would work in the car, in your house and in that thingamabob!

    The Quote button

Yes but if we all PMed you about the same thing, wouldn't that get even more annoying then just blocks of quotes?

    The Quote button

If you have such a problem with people quoting uncontrollably, why not just PM them to stop doing it so much? Instead of ruining it for the rest of us?

    IT BURNS!

I had an old pc case fan in my 350MHz iMac G3. I pulled off the connector and stuck the two wires into the positive and negative of the hard drive power plug and just jammed the thing into the hard drive's power outlet. It powered and worked well, but I don't think it did anything.
