Maybe I’ll try OS 8.1, 5, and 6? All versions of 9 don’t work.

Hey I was curious I have a 9.1 installer and wondering after the install why is shows it as MacOS Z-9.1 I know this installer is unique because it asks what country you are in.. I’m assuming this is an international 9.1 install??

Yeah I heard they really were on pallets for inventory purposes... and some did go out to major manufacturers but of course they noticed.. lol so naturally the manufacturers didn't install bricks :P :P But it would certainly be cool if someone had one of those boxes with an actual brick in it!!

Ok thanks for the info! I was not aware of the difference between the logic boards.. it was basically the same board just different revisions.. so I thought it would just add more backside cache that’s all.. but as you said the will not work with the newer processor with built in cache.
