Desk Accessories running in ...Mac OS X?

There is a copy of what seems to be this DA on the Macintosh Repository. The DA there contains the same two resources with the same ids, but the "alis" has different strings in it. The stuff they posted just seems a hexdump of the DA?

Releasing AirTalk: Wireless plug-and-play LocalTalk dongle

I wonder how difficult it would be to write an LToUdp bridge for open transport...

    Netatalk 4.0 - Future-proofing Apple File Sharing

Firstly thanks @slipperygrey for your great work on netatalk! I feel I could contribute maybe, but since last year somewhat life happened and I got stuck with all my Mac projects. I'm trying to start again (like getting my localtalk module into Linux) so maybe I could help with smaller things...

    Learning to program Mac Plus

Sure you can! Think c will run very well. I do think there is still a charm programming on compact macs even if it is a bit slow and clumsy, I love seeing my plus for this.

    Learning to program Mac Plus

Programming classic macs is super fun and rewarding! I second the The Macintosh Programming Primer, I used it a lot when starting up with my sold system.

    Cloning the AsantéTalk, or not

Depending on the use, one can also mount part of the root file system as read-only, and then have a ramdisk with the directories that need writing to (/tmp /var ...) and a small partition for the configuration. It is a system I used a lot back when I was maintaining embedded Linux system...

Introducing scuzEMU, a SCSI Emulator Utility

I think what makes it unfortunate, apart the string itself, is that if anybody would like to be compatibile with the Toolbox Software in their scsi emulator, they need to add the string "BlueSCSI is the BEST STOLEN FROM BLUESCSI" to make it work. Doesn't seem all that friendly to me.

68030 accelerator for the Macintosh Portable, redux.

That's me :D Unfortunately life caught up with me and I didn't have a moment to touch any mac related stuff, I did make a preliminary drawing of the board! I'm curious about the accelerator too. Would it include roms? I was looking at the processor slot in the PB100 and it has the same signals...

    MacAmp Mp3 Experiment on PB1400c/166

I remember encoding MP3s on my PPC-upgraded PowerBook 520c, it took forever but I would play them with MacAmp too! Wow MacAmp sure brings out memories!

    Create own REALbasic PlugIn

This is what I have. I also found a template for a starter plugin? I haven't touched this stuff in almost 25 years so I hope all is there!

    Create own REALbasic PlugIn

I have a copy of the Plugins SDK from around 2000/2001 (version 3.0 I think?) It includes stuff for CW and some examples but I have no idea if it works with CW 6.

Switzerland: PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module (with PB 540c)

I think it is two 540s, he says the first one is perfect but the second one does not work and is for parts.

Switzerland: PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module (with PB 540c)

    Calling/Running a Trap from REALbasic?

This is a tool I used many, many years ago when I was developing with ReadBasic. You need a copy of the Universal Headers and it should be able to produce the RealBasic interface. Hope it helps (and works!)

    USB2LT TashTalk Usb to LocalTalk

I think it should be doable, there was also a transceiver + transformer in a package IIRC mentioned in previous thread? Time for me is quite limited now, but I can have a look in a couple weeks.

    Transformers for homemade LocalTalk/PhoneNet dongles

I could draft a direct USB to PhoneNet if anybody is interested!

AppleShare via AirTalk between Mac Plus and MacBook Air

I've been toying with the idea for a bit, you basically implement a MacIP gateway on the esp, since it already implements a basic appletalk stack.
