I tried booting from System 8 one more time and got error #10 now. Might as well add it to the list. I ordered a ZuluSCSI Mini from Rabbit Hole. If I can boot from an image on the Mini then I know my main issue here has been with the floppy drive.

Now I am getting different errors on each reboot. Swapping memory in and out no longer makes any difference.
