I have found on Apple's site Apple Personal Diagnostics 1.1.3 but it requires Apple Personal Diagnostics 1.1 or 1.1.1
Anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the Apple Personal Diagnostics 1.1?
PSU is a refurb I purchases as initially I thought it was faulty.
As I have no idea how to test the onboard capacitors I will have to replace them all. oof
Just got hold of Apple Recovery CD, Booted it with the help of an external CD and voila !
It was a dream.
Now all I need are the Diagnostics for LC III so I can check if all is ok.

Memory slot tabs are broken and RAM is held in place with little bit of dough (i think)
I will try to remove ALL ram one pair to see if the helps and will add CPU directly to board...
I just came to own a LC III which powers up.
I do not have System 7 disks (yet) but did install a Quantum 105MB HD.
I am looking to find an installation manual so I can prep the HD to boot System 7.
I have recently acquired an Apple Macintosh IIx which does not power on. No chimes, No nothing. :(
I have replaced the power supply and both batteries but still nothing.
Power on tests include removal of ALL adapters but still nothing.
Any ideas ?
