it should actually be easier to use Installer VISE to make an installer. Macintosh Repository unfortunately has only PowerPC versions, but Vise 6.0 from macintosh garden might work on any mac with a 68020 or better, you just need to follow the protocol that is on the page to register it. Not...
there's a network time control panel you can get on macintosh repository that should use ntp to whatever server you want (I use time.nist.gov) to set the time on boot if it's inaccurate
well, they changed how the floppy drive mounts worked between the original LC and LC II. The LC II clips have holes for larger screws, so less stress is put on the fragile ABS plastic, compared to the original LC's clips
yes, it should be an auto-inject floppy drive. Mac84 actually made a video on this. It's on an original LC, I think, but they used the same drives from the release of the SE FDHD until 1993
Simple things first, is the termination enabled on the drive, or do you have an external terminator? SCSI needs one set of terminating resistors if there is only one thing on the bus, but needs 2 for two or more devices
This definitely sounds cool, I wonder if there's a way to configure it to run over Ethernet like Black Night without the WiModem232 (and a 232 to 422 adapter)
