ok it works on OS 8.1, but I have to disable the "Hide Label button" toggle because there is no Label button and it just hides the Special button

if you can, buy a plastic poker and poke around the analog board to see if poking at a certain spot causes the video to come back then out, and try reflowing the component that causes it

honestly would be cool if somebody reverse-engineered one of these because serial mice are way easier to find than Macintosh ones, and I'm sure certain PS/2 ones would work in a serial to PS/2 adapter

Hmm, I wonder what differences between the two LC III ROMs exist. Does anyone have any ROM dumps (and a knowledge of 68030 assembly) to compare the two to see what's different, if anything?

every time it reboots, it sounds like the power supply is rebooting due to overcurrent, did you replace all the capacitors on the analog board or just some of them?

there is a version of Apple's CD-ROM extension that works with any CD-ROM drive, I think it came with system 7.6.1

2367 is actually the best mode you can use! I use it with my beige Macs, and from what I know, it can go up to 800X600 on PPC machines

@Amiga of Rochester or @Mac84 can help, I can't recommend Amiga of Rochester enough because he helped save my LC III when I ripped a trace, and he recapped a Macintosh Classic for me
