    Check out my Mac plus

Awesome Plus! I have one too, which I got back in 2020. I'm actually a similar age to you, but a little younger. It really is cool to see like minded people around here! I'd also suggest Shufflepuck Cafe, it's good fun!

Why would you use Mac OS 6.0.5?

I use MacPack too, and I was wondering this as well. 6.0.5 didn't even boot correctly, and so I just deleted it :)

    Macintosh SE CRT issues

That's really helpful to know. My SE does the same, without the lines. I thought it was capacitors, so that should save a buck. Does anyone know which solder joints specifically?

PC133 Works in the iMac G3

Yesterday I found a stray 512MB PC133 RAM stick, so I installed it in my iMac G3 and it worked first try. EveryMac says they only support PC100 RAM, but I guess the iMac slows it down so it supports it. Just thought I'd let you guys know as it might work for you too.

    Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger for 600MHz iMac G3?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has a known working Mac OS X 10.4.11 PPC Update for my iMac G3 600MHz? I tried two, but the first one broke my Tiger install (10.4) and the other said it didn't support my Tiger install (despite being a PPC version). Any help would be much appreciated! 68kPlus

    After 5 years of searching...

Update: Both are fully functional with two new (old) IDE HDDs. Both are formatted to 128GB and running OS 9.1. One is 600MHz (Graphite) and the other 500MHz (Indigo). The Indigo has 192MB RAM and the Graphite 384MB. Love these two!
