Now I use this card with Quadra 950... is very fast! It will work with ppc upgrade? (my driver is supervideo v2.75)

Good! But I have searched the code on the my dram chips, on one simm I have this code: HY5117400B and by my search is 2k refresh. Others simm is different and use this chips: IBM 0116400BJ1D In theory is 4k... I have the simm already mixed?  :)   

Hi I have one Quadra 700 and Quadra 950... I'm already have four 16mb simm, but one is died! My 16mb simm is 8 chips, 60ns, and 2k refresh. If I buy another simm with 8 chips, 60ns, but is 4k refresh.... is a problem? The ram controller of Q950 and Q700 accept 4k refresh sticks? If I mix 2k...

Is true I not have good English  :) but G3 work great in my system, the only problem is I can not hear the chime at first startup... I suspect the G3 drain more power and psu cut the power at speaker amp. I have removed L2  ;)

Ok, some tests and some news! Removed all ram, insert only 2 dimm's (64x2 A4/B4). No chime, but the screen appear very fast... 10/20 seconds, is clear the time of black screen is memory test, more memory, more black screen. I removed all! Only 2 dimm's (16x2 A4/B4), removed all pci boards...

I already have 9600 but not work... from the psu out 24v instead 12v from the small connector. I suspect did have damaged the logic board (i tried to send 12v instead 24v without success)

One question: my dimm of 64mb have some small chips, 16mb dimm have 8 big chips... perhaps 64mb is fpm and 16mb is edo???

Pram is ok, 3,6v and not loose the clock. I suspect the problem is only with monitor attached at pci graphics, not with onboard video

Problem solved! I went from a professional and I welded chips as it should! Now I not have more vram simm's... never mind! ;)

Yes 2D benchmarks, MacBench5.0 For this vintage machines 2D speed is most important, 3D is optional...  ;) Any way to have 1280x720 or 1360x768 resolution? Any hack or app? My lcd is native 1366x768 and the twinturbo have a vga connector. I not even this resolutions with rage128... :(
