@olePigeon thanks for cleaning it up but it's a wip! I just updated it with the new Spire Image and the Font is next! Good job tho :)
Right so, here's what's been added since my last post:
Keyboard support (as requested above)
WASD to move your character (adding in numpad next)
Space to...
Code Warrior 4 builds and runs apps on System 6. As far as the toolbox, you technically need to setup a wrapper for it once for a few things. In my own game I only touched the toolbox once in the beginning and did the following:
An init class that initialises everything I need.
A gui library...
It's a bit of a problem with the scaling on walls < 2 squares away. I wanna wrap everything else up before I'll sit down to fix it since it requires quite a few changes but It's on my todo list.
Yep. I'm using a single texture / square. You can imagine the walls on a tile like a cube and they...
Another weekend, another small update completed. October just started so that means I'm technically just 1 month away from my target launch date (November 2nd - the 4 year anniversary of the original game Ebony Spire: Heresy).
New additions to the game include:
Overhauled dungeon generation...
As quick update - the "inventory" system has been added together with various spells and item types. Enemies, once they spot you, will announce it via a message in the log. This is to avoid having the player constantly look around when moving in order to not get jumped by an enemy behind him...
A quick update on the status of the game:
Items have been implemented. So far the player can pickup Potions (restore health) and arrows (re-supply your quiver so you can use the bow)
Sprite sorting is done and sprites are sorted properly based on distance to the player
Stairs for going up and...
I think I spent about 6 months trying all avenues, even going on actual hotline servers and even paying to access one in search of it! I think the best bet is to try and find the original developer. My initial plan was to get in touch with him (tried LinkedIN, e-mail, github with no replies yet)...
My thread on WebOne died back with the data loss the forum suffered BUT you can get modern SSL to work with netscape 3.x and iCab! Check this out:

You can install WebOne on a raspberry pi in the network and set it as a proxy. It will allow you to browse modern HTTPS...
I posted a 500$ bounty for version 1.3.1 of gbMac - https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/looking-for-gbmac-version-1-3-1-offering-a-500-reward-via-paypal-to-anyone-who-can-archive-upload-it.38927/
For the past 6 months or so I scoured the internet in search for a copy of GBMac v1.3.1 - a gameboy emulator for 68K macs. As opposed to all other gameboy emulators for 68k macs, this one is extremely performant and ran quite a lot of games at a high framerate even on my SE/30. There is a...
Email is not available anymore. Managed to track down the author on git where he posted a new email address that sadly, also doesn't work anymore. You have no idea how long I've been waiting to throw money at the author, including paying him to publicise the emulator for everyone to use :(
Yes, but those are the public version in which you can't save :D! I was hoping on one of your CD's there was the rare 1.3.1 version that cannot be found anywhere on the internet. Been searching for it for the past half an year and I'm close to putting up a bounty for that version.
Anyway...
Any chance you have a copy of gbmac in that collection? It's a japanese gameboy emulator that's really well written with amazing performance even on 030 macs, not to mention 040!
If it's a PHP only website it works pretty well. I have a local pizzeria that's just PHP + HTML + CSS and it works with CSS disabled. Heck, I can acess a (badly presented) wordpress dashboard from it and I used PHP to write my own twitter client so I can use it from the CCII :)
