    Floppy Drive Grease

On the auction they write it's original Molykote, on the stickers is M-kote 😄 Another red alert....these type of grease has an expiration date, which is completely omitted on the plastic containers.

Dow Corning EM-30L is the perfect grease for a lot of application, I used it a lot of times on cd players mechanism and other stuff. The funny thing is that the minimum format for that grease is a 100ml tube ; hebuy and other marketplaces are full of people who sell this product (well...not...

    Quadra 840AV owners question

hey all 🤘 I was lucky enough to find a Quadra 840av during 2019. I already organized a full recap; when opened the mac, I found inside that the cdrom drive is a AppleCD 300 Plus unit. I always saw (phisically or on various vintage ads) that the 840AV has the Apple cd with the gray caddy to...

It's presumably the production week of the motherboard (23rd week of 1984). Mentioned @LaPorta because I was searching one in the last months marked 8422.

Honestly, I never saw a motherboard in these conditions but It can be just a "visual thing", try to cleanup to understand the amount of the damage.

Can anyone identify this Mystery Cable and Adapter?

The cable looks like mine for an Apple Imagewriter. The adapter....it's the same shape of the cables used for the Digidesign interfaces (888 as example) but I never saw that in a system.

Mac SE/30 with regular Mac SE front???

In the case of my case (ha!) the serial is the old SE one; they put the se/30 back sticker on the old SE sticker (one day I'll try to take it out with an hairdryer) and they changed the front. (mg man? I'm a FIAT124Spider man! We have the same passion, just more rust on my side 🥲 )
