I had the some problem with a 7000 in a 9500 with a sonnet crescendo card, I gave up. ATI drivers made the computer crash or having odd behavior. To make things harder, french ATI extensions and english ATI have different names, you should mess with extensions to avoid mix-matchs.

Those locks are cheap, and probably difficult to re-key. The lock should have a tag consisting of 3 numbers on the cord, this is the key number, it can in theory be used to make a new key.
