If it didn't come with one, a cache card noticeable improves performance. That said, I still only run 7.1 on my 68030 based machines because 7.5.5 is just too slow for me on these machines. I run 7.6.1 on my 68040s.

LOL... argh. My "A" cell pack has zero errors. My "AA" cell pack has an error that is uncorrectable (Lind, EMMpathy). Given it charges ok, I'm just going to leave it for now. I don't feel like opening it again to replace the memory chip.

Just charged both batteries and ran Battery Amnesia. Came in at 141 minutes to drain both batteries. This is about 60 minutes shorter than what @croissantking got and I think less than what I previously got as well. But there was one difference... my 540c currently has a spinning hard disk in it...

I check my laptops every few weeks to ensure the batteries haven't gone down to 0V. Found my 540c wouldn't boot last night. My Sanyo "A" pack was down to 0. But the pack was fine and it recharged and it's holding charge. My "AA" pack however is not responding. It's not detected in either...

I had been under the impression that all the Duos share the same keyboard but given I have only played with a 280c, I cannot be sure of that. Maybe @3lectr1cPPC knows?

I didn’t like how if I caught the key at the wrong angle, it wouldn’t register a press which massively increased the amount of typos. And one of the keys just stopped working again even after using a conductivity pen on the trace.

Really? They don't even sell it? The recyclers here seem to resell the stuff for cheap.
