PowerBook 180 trackball stopped working after reassembly

No. Nothing. Here’s what ADB Parser says

Concept: MacintoshX - Game like its 1991, compute like its 1986!

Why can't you just use a 68000? What does the "X" in MacintoshX symbolize?

PowerBook 180 trackball stopped working after reassembly

Yes I checked that cable. I'll wait until the SCSI gender changer arrives so I can mount the PowerBook hard drive on my PC and get ADB Parser on there

    Mac Plus Socket the 68000

Go for it. Unless you plan to install an upgrade board which clips over the 68000, in that case the added height might interfere

PowerBook 180 trackball stopped working after reassembly

Well, I made the Bad Mistake of leaving my PowerBook outside and it'd got rained on a bit with the cover closed. I disassembled it and dried the motherboard, daughterboard, and RAM expansion card. Luckily there was no water on the right side where the floppy and hard drive lives. When taking...

    PowerBook HDI-30 to CN-50 adapter

Here's the SCSI card I'll be using (Adaptec AHA-2940), with a male-male HD-30 to CN-50 cable attached. I do need a female-female SCSI gender changer (pictured) in order to connect this cable to the PowerBook adapter. I already have a SCSI terminator, is it needed for this setup?

    PowerBook HDI-30 to CN-50 adapter

They said there’s no switch. This adapter has one pictured, though: https://www.ebay.com/itm/116385328106

    PowerBook HDI-30 to CN-50 adapter

The PC runs Linux which supports reading/writing to HFS filesystems. But it won't be very useful since the resource fork is seemingly ignored. Basilisk II and others should be able to mount the real SCSI disk on the emulated machine.

    PowerBook HDI-30 to CN-50 adapter

Has anyone here bought this adapter? Does it have a switch for SCSI Disk Mode? https://www.ebay.com/itm/324041684642 I want to connect my PowerBook 180 to a SCSI PC and transfer files. I still have the original IBM hard drive installed

I've been using the IIcx without a PRAM battery up until now. After installation it still won't remember any of my settings. Why? I did try zapping PRAM but of course that'd never help

    Q840av gets a make over

I don't like when people leave big empty holes in cases... You've got those NuBus slots and power supply orfices wide open. Grinds my gears! Are you going to spray paint your keyboard, mouse, and monitor silver next?

SD Aide (for SCSI Emulator power up lock up issues)

I used this control panel to fix a lock up issue when waking my PowerBook 180 from sleep. It has the original IBM hard drive. When booted off a floppy, it would wake from sleep correctly. Otherwise it'd just spin up the hard drive and get stuck. Now with SD Aide and a 2 second delay the IBM...
