Hi Has anyone got one of these working. I am having trouble getting it ti work have tried with system 6 & 7 and tattltech shows the card info but when I try to select ethernet in network control panel gets error and reverts to local talk. Cheers

Wasn't intending to upset anyone just suggesting more info. Not everyone is great at fixing and yes some people do charge for their time. Personally I reckon that's OK it's up to the individual to choose what's right for them.

Have you checked other components beside the capacitors. Diodes and scr's and optocoupler are useally faulty

I got it from Digi-Key their part number is BYW76TAPGICT-ND It's a Diode Avalanche 600v 3A and its near QP2 just a small blob with wires

I recapped one of these recently and found that the QP2 scr and DP13 600v diode as well optocoupler needed replacing

Thanks for your input. Tested the ADB ports both have 5volts. Should I rep[lace the ADB buffer?
