Definately cap goo corrosion UC7, UD8 and UE8. I'd lift those and clean under. Just done a similar looking board and they were causing black screen. It's still not quite right but getting there. Take the RTC out and see what it looks like
Hi everyone My SE/30 Chimes and boots(can see bluescsi flashing). Originally no screen but I've removed and cleaned UE8 LS166 and UF8 LS393 both had cap goo under and now I get what is shown in pics. What to check next?
Hi again if you are about max I am trying to fix pin 2 connection on LP2(ZL2) and there is no trace left on board and the hole into the board has no sign of any copper or solder. Do you know where it should connect to? thanks
I've given the board a really good clean and visual inspection and cannot see anything untoward. Latest test it chimes lights up monitor and mouse pointer then reboots before splash screen
I have a recapped LCIII that has been working well. It has just started to reboot itself just after it has booted into the desktop and a couple of times has locked and rebooted during startup. I've done all the usual swaps of known good memory drive and power supply from another working LCIII...

I've had no success with getting this to work. Tried a variety of settings. I'm using an ethernet network connection and appletalk and just get error no first class server on network 1044
