Hi again tried another ram set and got the SE to boot up but the mouse is still syuck in top left hand corner and the keyboard doesn't work. What should I be looking at in the ADB area? Thanks
On first restart it made it to the Welcome to Macintosh screen then locked up. Restarted just the screen lights up grey screen and it doesn't attempt to boot. Cheers
@joschc I've reseated the ROM and RAM and just recapped the LB. Managed to get it boot once but the adb still not working. Going to double do all my solder joints again and see if that helps. Thanks for your input.
Unfortunately all I have now is a working screen and it no longer attempts to boot. The LB is stuffed I think and I don't think I'm clever enough to fix it. Dissapointing as it was working really well and I was just playing around with updating the system etc.
Thanks for the replies everyone. AB is not recapped but voltages at floppy port solid 5v And 12V. The mouse and keyboard both don't work. Going to re solder all the connector pins on AB and LB and give it a really good inspection for cracks in tracks etc. cheers
Have an SE, early two 800k floppy model, that I have been sorting out and it has been working for about a week. Today developed the checkerboard pattern on the screen so I resoldered the connections on the analog board that connects to the tube back connector. All good worked again for about ten...
