The issue is known, a domain used for 68kmla.org's DNS MX record has gone offline, and it is set as the only allowed sending domain for 68kmla.org email in the DNS SPF record. Yeah, it's unfortunate, seems like forum maintenance is seriously on the backburner at the moment. The only positive is that spambots at least can't post, though I imagine if and when the issue is fixed, there's plenty of 'em waiting in the wings... :-/

so from what I gather(at least from the issues that were happening a few years ago with the forum crash, not sure if anythings changed) is Cory doesn't admin things related to the infrastructure, and it's wthww who does all the tech infrastructure and would be the one that has access to fixing the MX records, who seems pretty unactive on the forum

Kinda sucks that stuff like this gets ignored considering this has been a known issue for nearly 2 months, and I do see people post about issues joining this forum in facebook groups sometimes.

I know and I'm sorry. I'm still trying basically every week to try to get some time on this.

I am still regularly processing the spam filter's registration queue so with any luck there won't be a big surge of them when email is fixed.

Yeah, this isn't a fantastic situation. It makes it very hard to communicate with folks in DMs, too.

Wouldn’t having some more moderators be a possible solution, to take the burden off @Cory5412 ?

I’ve been unable to reset my password due to this issue, and am relying on an old session token on my iPhone to comment here. Hope this gets fixed at some point though, doesn’t seem great that this relies on one person. :/

@KGLlewellyn please feel free to DM me but as of right now I show your user status as valid. (And not awaiting confirmation) so you should be able to sign back in on whatever other devices/browsers/sessions.

Perhaps try in an incognito session on desktop to avoid disturbing anything?

I believe the email problem is more an issue with the hosting rather than the forum software itself. Is there any ETA to resolve this?
