Any fix for a Wallstreet freezing when copying to the PCMCIA CF card yet?

Any fix for a Wallstreet 233 freezing when copying to the PCMCIA CF card yet? Works fine with extensions off. No CD or floppy. Tried resetting the PRAM 4 consecutive times. Once I put the CF card on an adapter in the HD cage on the PATA bus, it works fine, but I just wanted to be able to use the PCMCIA adapter to make CF cards for other Mac's without rebooting with no extensions every time, since there's no network without extensions. I tried Conflict Catcher, but couldn't figure this one out with all the freezing and reboots. I'm using a Raspberry Pi 2B running A2server on the network for file transfers to a Win10 desktop. can't say i've ever heard of this issue so there's definitely no fix

Should be fine, I would suggest formatting the drive on the Mac side and not Windows, check the slot for any damage.

You accidentally put this in the subforum for desktop G3/G4/G5. Might get more traction if there's a way to move it to the one for PowerBooks.
