Thanks for the info! I am trying to decide on whether it is worth it to spend the money on the upgrade, but from what I have seen it seems that PATA to M-SATA would be the cheapest route. I may be confused as to what you are proposing though. Thanks for all the help!

I second for OS 9. 10.3 doesn't really have much aftermarket support (i.e browsers, apps). 9 is just more fun, especially after raiding the Macintosh Garden.
